Currently I’m product designer at Breadfast, based in Cairo, Egypt. I’m naturally curious about how people think, behave, and interact with the products around them. I enjoy turning complicated problems into simple, thoughtful experiences that make everyday life feel a little easier.
Driven by wanting to know how things are built and why, not just what they look like on the surface.
Design only matters if it actually helps the people using it; impact for the user comes before impact for the metrics.
Good design also has to work for the business behind it; the best solutions create value on both sides.
Success starts with making something I'd stand behind, work I'm genuinely proud to put my name on.
I'm at my best when a problem is vague or messy; figuring out what's actually going on underneath it is half the fun.
Progress beats perfection; I'd rather move fast and refine than stall chasing an ideal first draft.

Discovering Design Thinking
At 20, I joined a design thinking workshop simply to try something new. By the end of the sprint, I had discovered the field I wanted to build my career in.
Building the Foundation
A few months later, I completed Udacity’s UX Nanodegree and began turning my curiosity into a practical design foundation.
First Design Internship
The Nanodegree helped me land my first design internship at Robusta Studio, where I began learning how design works beyond theory.
Growing at Robusta
I continued at Robusta as a full-time product designer, taking on larger challenges and growing through hands-on experience.
Graduating from College
While working full-time during my final two years of college, I completed my business degree and chose to continue building my career in design.
Giving My First Talk
I gave my first public talk at TIEC, sharing what UX design is and how aspiring designers can enter the field.
Building RTL Layout
I co-founded RTL Layout, a Figma plugin that helps designers adapt interfaces for Arabic and right-to-left languages.
Supporting Aspiring Designers
I joined Carerha, a USAID-backed program, as an instructor in the design track and helped women begin their careers in technology.
Joined Breadfast
I joined Breadfast, where I began working closely with a product team and contributing to experiences used every day.
Skills
When I’m not designing, I’m usually planning my next solo trip, meeting new people, or spending time at the gym. I love exploring new places, especially when there’s a good hike involved, and I’m almost always listening to music along the way. I’m also very much a night owl, some of my best ideas tend to appear long after midnight.
